Humans are good and bad not by nature, but by age and the sitautions that occurs in your lifetime.

Top Ten List of the things European kings did to get more power

1. Invade countries
2. Find a strong, willing leader that can unite people
3. Team up with other kingdoms to defeat others kingdoms
4. When needed money to for wars, Europen coutries would use the parliament
5. Use of the parliament could weaking royal power
6. Would atteck country when leader was weak
7. Have good land (geo.)
8. Have a strong army
9. Would have successors to keep family power in tech
10. Invaded other countries before atteck bigger ones

Bureaucracy- non-elected officals that carried out laws/decisions from the Legislature

Aristocracy- elitce (the best) citizens rule, only few

Constitutionalism- govn. comes from the Constitution

Autocracy- political power in the hands of one person

Monarchy- ruled by one person

Dictatorship- person with full power in making laws and control of army

Totalitarianism- govn. where state is in charge

Absolutism- where one person (Monarchy) has the right to rule the presents' land freely

Democracy- everyone has a say in the govn.

Oligarchy- govn. rested on small group of people
